Batter up!

Well, a new little league season started for us today, and we had games for both of our two youngest grandsons!  The littlest one just started tee ball!  I will let photos do the rest of the talking, except to say it was almost 90 (in early March!), we had a blast, and this will be our Saturdays for the next couple of months, and I can’t think of a better way to spend it!

p.s.  this was my first outing for my new camera.  I have much to learn, esp. how to work better with a chain link fence between me and my subject.  I’ll get there.  🙂

Gosh how I love these two little guys!  🙂

Your little grandsons are so cute! Yes our soccer season is nearly upon us so we'll be out early on Saturday mornings watching our oldest grandson too.

we are lucky, both their games are either 11 or 1, so no early morning. I've always said I wouldn't go to a game that started before 10 am. I had to do it with my daughters, but I don't have to do it with/for grandkids. Mean ole granny I yam. LOL

    and thanks!

thanks! I'm making a concerted effort to do my best to attend all games, because once we retire to AZ, obviously that ends. I want the memories for them and US of this shared time now. 🙂

Thanks, Denise! And there are two; the four year old is the first set of photos, he in blue, and his big brother, eight, is the one focused on in the red jersey photos. 🙂

Your little guys are so cute in their baseball gear. It's nice you live near enough to attend their games. I'm looking forward to returning to Minnesota in May to do just that for mine. Two are playing soccer and two baseball.

    yep, 90. 🙂

tee is ball is starter baseball. They get 3 pitches thrown by their coach, and if they can't hit any of them, a 'tee' is set up where the baseball is placed on it so they can hit the stationary ball. Done for 4-5 year olds to get them started. 🙂
