from heavy, to light

I’m talking about blog topics.  🙂

Now, for a little harmless fluff.  I’m talking Emmy’s red carpet dresses.  Here are my top favorites from the show:

My favorite of the evening is Thandy Newton.  Stunning; dress, color, make-up, hair.

Second favorite is 13 year old Milly Bobby Brown.  13 was my ugliest age.  If she looks this stunning at 13, can you image her in the next 10-15 years?  And I love how age-appropriate she is:

I also loved the following…

Emmy Rossum:

Jessica Biel (she’s usually a red carpet flop in my mind, but this time, she looks really pretty, and I love her hair):

Carrie Coon:

I especially love her HAIR.  And from the side.  Unfortunately, I was unable to find any side photos of her hair, but the waves were just AMAZING!

Others I liked dresses, but hair or make-up seemed too severe, or loved make-up or hair, but dresses missed.  So these are my top favorites.  🙂

I didn’t watch the show; I was politics weary, even as a liberal who’s views matched most of those on the stage.  LOL

I like all your choices…classy looking, but I don't like the way that dress in their 3rd photo pushes her breast up muffin style. I know it's the same dress as the 1st and 2nd photo but I think top is fit too tight. I'll bet if she stretched her arms up in the air, she'd pop right out of the dress.

I love the simplicity and elegance of your first few choices. spot on.
I also didn't watch. no particular reason. I actually forgot about it. and I don't watch that much tv anymore anyway. did enjoy the post though!

Well, on the other side of the coin, I would be scared to death of a strapless dress that wasn't snug on the top. One could stretch their arms up in the air, and they'd pop right out of the dress. LOL 😉
