Blogger acting up

I am getting about a 30 second delay every time I try to reply to a comment.  I shut my pc down and restarted, but same thing.  3 days now.  It’s making it very difficult for me to want to comment, even here, you know?

Not sure what to do.  😦

I've got the same thing, but I figured it was because I am over my max limit on my unlimited. If that makes sense. They have slowed me way down until the month starts over.

Well, this makes me feel a little better; not that I would wish this on anyone else. I really don't want to start a new blog away from Blogger, but I might have to. I guess I'll try to find their support forum first though…

I'm having the same issue and I'm wondering if it has something to do with the latest Microsoft security patch because they did say it was going to slow down our systems a bit. I'm learning just to keep my eye on the little line at the bottom of the screen that is telling us what's going on…the 'handshake' etc…helps me be patient.

LOL You ladies crack me up. Yes, I'd say it's been going on about 3 days. Blogger support does have a thread on the subject, and they are looking into it. I added my 2 cents. 🙂

Thanks for mentioning that discussion thread at Blogger's Help Forum. I found the thread and left my two cents as well. The more people who report it the more they'll quit suggesting it's an isolated issue.

I make my comment and then leave it alone and work from a different tab. I don't know if I have described that well, but I often have a number of tabs open at once, and I just move on to another if the action on one tabs stalls for awhile.

I don't reply to comments on my blog (I email reply) but I DO notice it every time I go to make a comment. I just go on to the next one and close the window later.

I thought it was just my new laptop and wondered what preference setting I needed to fool with. Okay. I'll do nothing since its not me. Today I counted and it's about 30 seconds.

I think all of us on blogger have experienced problems.Over the years I have found that sometimes when using blogger patience is needed … these things seem to work out in the end.In the meantime I hope the remainder of January goes well for you.All the best Jan

It seems the problem is with “Blogger” because I've had it for several days too. I just have to sit and wait for it to post my comments. Gives me time to contemplate my navel.

I'm VERY close to switching to wordpress. I don't like the hassle, and I especially don't like that their blogroll doesn't sort by newest posts, but my patience is running thin here…
