Israeli invasion?

Over the past 2 hours, I’ve gotten over 2,900 page views here, with 2,800 of them originating from Israel!

No comment “attack” yet, but I’m keeping watch.  This blog is NOT searchable, so I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but worse comes to worse, I’ll revert to comments needing approval.

Anyhow, weird, huh?  I have no idea what is going on…..

Weird! Maybe you are being vetted for the CIA or Mossad! Do you think you'd make a good undercover agent? Would you blog your discoveries? Keep us in the loop, this sounds like the makings of a good story!

hahaha!!!!! I don't think my poor old heart could handle it, but it MIGHT be fun trying. hehehe.I will definitely keep you guys in the loop. It seems to have slowed down once I posted this and it hit the 3,000 mark…

It's probably just bots scanning the internet for key words or email addresses. It doesn't matter if you are searchable or not. It used to freak me out that I get so many of those from Russia, but now I don't care. Now I'm going to go check my stats. Let you know if I got invaded from the same source.

Well, I think it's bots that read, because as soon as I posted this post, it all came to a screeching halt. 🙂 I've had run-ins in the past with other sources, and the big visit stat increase is always the first sign, so I tend to keep a watch on it. 🙂

I too have had that happen but from Russia. And no comments.Responding to your earlier post about the news. I understand. DT gets to be too much but by turning it off entirely I think you tend to accept that its the norm now. We can't let that happen. We need to stand up to him and his abnormality. I only read news online from Washington Post and CNN. Maybe scale back but don't give it up all together.

I just went back to check mine, I guess that I am not that popular I only had 46 views and nothing from Russia or Israel. Funny that yours stopped once this post was published.

Vfor a while I had several posts on my blog getting tons of visits. They weren't necessarily new posts and appeared to be random. I never looked to see where they were so ing from

I have never checked stats but I do get some strange anonymous comments on some of my older posts. Since I have comments over two weeks old needing approval, I just delete them. Maybe I should get a little smarter about this.

Well, over the years, I've had issues while blogging. For this blog, I do not have it listed with Blogger, it is not visible by search engines, I don't allow anonymous commenters, and like you, I have comments over 2 weeks old needing approval. If I started to get spammed, I'd shut that down to 'never' allowing comments on posts over 2 weeks old. We gotta do what we gotta do to protect ourselves. 🙂

LOL…neither do I. Nor am I Jewish. Oh well. Half-day aberration. Onward and upward, but I admit I was a tad concerned to what I'd find this morning when I logged on…
